Within the framework of the World Health Day being carried out by Nablus Municipality in cooperation with the WHO and Ministry of Health, Eng. Adly Yaish, mayor of Nablus has opened the free medical day at Al-Kindy school with the participation of a number of local medical and health institutions in the city. The activity covered early self check of breast cancer for women, early check of impairment for children, sight check, blood testing, psychological support for women and other related medical checks.

During the day, an influx of local citizens visited the Kindy school since early hours counted to 500 patients who expressed their satisfaction with the provided services.

At the same time and during services provided by the medical day, a cleaning campaign day has been carried out in cooperation with the Social Services Center of Najah university when about 150 volunteers worked on cleaning Sama Nablus public park, Jamal Abdul Naser public park and part of the eastern cemetery. Mr. Salameh, director of the center stated that this activity lies within the centers programs and activities and considered as a fundamental principle that aims at maintaining the public health in the city and preserving a clean and hygiene environment so that helps ensuring urbanized and civilized context of the city.
